MemberTwo trekkers by the name of Andrew Robertson and David Healey headed out today from Owers' Corner for a 7 day trek. On the last day they will overnight as guests of Russell Eroro's family in Kokoda and fly back in on the 8th day.
Last night we met up with them and said we would arrange to have them picked up at 7am so no late night for these guys!
Right on time, our troopcarrier pulled into the Gateway Hotel and trekkers posed for a photographs, well a couple actually:
Pic 1: Excited Mates ready to head out on their adventure
Pic 2: Our very own KTL boys who are accompanying these guys. Klarenson is their guide – his first time as a guide is VERY excited to be given the chance to prove himself!

MemberUpdate 13th October: Trekkers made it to their first destination of Ua'Ule Creek where they spent last night. The toughed it out yesterday it seems and found the going tough but made it ok.
Today the plan is to head to Nauro. As we do not run boot camps, our treks are not set in concrete and may be changed depending on how the two are going so do not be surprised if I end up saying they have overnighted somewhere else.

It was in my better judgement not to pass on this info as you may not be able to action anything while away, and would have sleepless nights, but you don't sleep anyway and as efficient as you are you would have measures in place!!! MemberUpdate 15th October mid afternoon: We have heard from the track that they have decided to spend the night in Naduri instead of heading down to 1900 due to another couple of large treks ahead of them that they are trying to avoid.

Sorry to bother you with work, but Simon Bonello rang me "i was in a training session" today and said he needed more bandwidth – so all I could think of was to tell you mum to tell jeff as I had no access to computer – I also told Simon to email Simon@foxe.com.au to see if he could help.Look forward to hearing your voice soon, not that I am counting the days…..give dave a big kiss for me too – is it true he crys himself to sleep every night?
