MemberUpdate 23rd July: Our guide Tony Ogomeni radioed in from Imita Ridge to say that they were on the move and were heading for Ofi Creek where they plan to spend the night. He said all trekkers were doing just great which is good news as I was worried about one trekker who said he had just got over the flu.

MemberUpdate 30th July: My apologies for not updating this until now. I have been having problems on and off with our internet connections and some have been timing out before the update happens.
Trekkers walked out into Kokoda yesterday morning and overnighted at Russell Eroro's family block and this morning travelled back into Port Moresby on our chartered flight around 10:30am. They were welcomed to the block by a group of sing sing traditional dancers.
Today they were picked up by myself and driven to the Gateway Hotel and the Holiday Inn. Tonight we will meet up with them at 6pm.
I will take some pics and will post later tonight.

MemberTonight we met up with all trekkers and I do not think I have laughed so much for a long time. These trekkers really have a sense of humour and it was fantastic hearing all their stories. Here are the photographs I took tonight:

MemberUpdate 2nd August: On the 1st August two trekkers from this group headed back to Kokoda to spend a few days with their porters so they must have really enjoyed their time with our boys. Here is a photograph of them as they departed on a tropic air flight to Kokoda. They originally left around 8am but the flight could not land so they turned around and came back. Around 2pm they departed again and that time got in and landed at Kokoda airport.
