MemberOn the 26th we were up bright and early to get away the following four trekkers who flew out at 6:30 to Popondetta:
David and Frederick Gollan, their Australian historian Bruce Copeland and one lone trekker Paul Miller
Our KTL 1 vehicle was at Guria airport to collect our trekkers and to drive them up to Kokoda after a look at the Monument area in Popondetta.

MemberUnfortunately David Gollan suffered from leg cramps yesterday and obviously did it tough. He is considering withdrawing and will make that decision once they reach the Isurava Battle Site area..

MemberUpdate 26th September: Trekkers are now at Eora Creek but unfortunately Frederick has slipped over and he thinks his toe is broken so I have organised a helicopter for a pick up tomorrow.
Tonight they will sleep with the sound of the river directly below them which roars all night long!

Paul Miller and Bruce Copeland pushed on to Naduri and then onto Efogi where they spent the night. Our guide Tony after making sure the father and son were safely aboard the chopper headed off to catch up with his trek at Efogi.
Today they have a big walk to Nauro.

MemberUpdate 1st October: This morning our group were picked up in our troopcarrier and are now on their way back to the hotel. Paul and our KTL boys would have had to cross over Goldie River before the climb up to the finish line which is the Archway at Owers' Corner.
