MemberA lone trekker Teresa Carney headed off from Ower's Corner this morning on a 9 day trek. She said she felt overwhelmed to know she was to be looked after by not one but 3 males for the next 9 days.
Somehow I dont think she will have to lift a finger only walk and like myself and a girlfriend who trekked with me last year, the boys will spoil her rotten.

MemberHave just spoken to Teresa by two way radio, Tuesday 1st November and they were at Efogi and planned to reach Kagi where they will spend tonight.
I asked how she was going and the reply was fine….the boys are looking after me well and I am doing fine.

MemberUpdate 02/11/05:Our guide radioed in to say they had decided to walk past Naduri instead Kagi as Teresa was having some problems with her knees but was still doing ok.
Later in the day we were informed they had reached 1900 where they planned on spending the night. Teresa was fine and still doing ok.

MemberUpdate Sunday 6th November 2005: Teresa is now back in Port Moresby following her successful trek. She said the boys were great and Tony made a fantastic porter.
The hospitality showered upon her in Kokoda seemed to make her happy so all in all a good trek and for us the last of the season so we can now relax until 2006.
