    Update 26th September, 2005;

    Trek 121
    When I last spoke to the group's guide Tony, his two-way-radio, was not transmitting well, his reception was not clear, and i couldnt hear him properly. But was able to hear him say that, they were going to spend the night at Deniki, and move out from there tomorrow. He also said all trekkers are doing fine and moving terrific.

    Trekkers heading to Deniki look-out point where they will camp for the night.

    Update 27th September, 2005;

    Trek 121
    The group has finally arrived in Kokoda. All trekkers are well, happy and excited. They are now relaxing in Russell?s family block.

    CONGRTULATIONS TO ALL TREKKERS FOR COMPLETING THIS TREK SUCCESSFULLY. WELL DONE & WE'LL SEE YOU ALL WHEN YOU RETURN!!!

    Apologies to all family members and friends who have passed on messages to the trekkers but have not seen any replies from the trekkers or their progress so far. As I have already posted up in one of my previous posts, the group?s two-way-radio was malfunctioned somewhere along Ioribaiwa and Nauro village.
    During that time since, I was not able to speak to any of the trekkers or their guide.

    However, I have now let known to the guide that there are messages from the trekkers? families who are eagerly awaiting response from the trekkers.

    The trekkers will give their response to me via the guide or straight to me after they have a brief rest from their tireless walk….until then the latest will be posted up sometime today.

    Seen here is Deniki look-out point, where the group spent their last night.
