    All trekkers had an early start this morning when they had to book in for their flight to Kokoda which should leave around 9 am.

    Another photograph taken last night – as you can see pizza was on the menu:

    Update 14 July, 2005;

    Trek 111
    Trekkers arrived at Kokoda around 8:50am, yesterday morning, and met up with their guide, Beven Evari who was waiting for the 6 men to arrive at Kokoda air-strip, along side Beven were, 5 ? 6 other food-porters.

    As soon as the plane landed and the 6 trekkers; Chris Bartram, Nick Bartram, Matt Grogan, Tim Campbell, Ben Newbold & Alex Woerndle came out, Beven and the rest of the guys were there to meet up with them.

    After a brief introduction, they did some sorting out with their gears, and then heading out for their first day adventure.

    Even though the test mountain was a tiring climb and a tough one, the group did great and finally made it to their camp site, Isurava village.

    The weather was looking good yesterday, so hopefully today will be the same.

    Latest on the trail;

    Trek 111
    The group started off early hours this morning, and has now reached Alola village. All trekkers are taking a short time break and will move on when they are done.

    On their way to Alola the group made a stop at Isurava Battlefield, were the trekkers took some time to read the monuments and take pictures.

    At the moment all trekkers are on the move, they seem to be doing just fine at this time, there have been no report of anyone having difficulties, so that?s good. Weather's looking fine, so should be a good day.

    Latest on the trail;

    Trek 111
    The group made a stop at Eora Creek for lunch, and continued on from there, to their camp site, Templeton?s Crossing.

    Their guide just informed me that, all trekkers are ok still going strong and doing fine.

    Right now I can?t talk to any of the trekkers, coz all are still on the move. But, I?ll try to get hold of them, when and if they get to a good location.

    Other than that, everything?s fine and all is well.

    The group is now having lunch at Naduri, all trekkers are well, still going strong and doing terrific; no reports of any injuries, so it?s all good so far.
