MemberAt the moment we have a single trekkers heading across the track with Wayne Urina Tihimi and Toto Kolongo who commenced their trek yesterday and spent the night at Goodwater. This trek was supposed to get away yesterday morning but unfortunately Virgin had to return back to Brisbane and the flight was then cancelled. Arriving a day late, a decision was made to go straight to Owers' Corner and a short walk down to Goodwater campsite.

MemberReceived a text from Wayne (Guide) to say they decided to pull up at Agulogo for the night. It would have been a pretty tough day for Matthew and our staff. They left Goodwater this morning, walked through the village of Ioribaiwa – continued to Ofi Creek, then the tough walk up Maguli Range to reach Naoro before heading off to Agulogo for the night.

MemberAnother big day for this trek. I received a text message from Wayne saying they were heading to Naduri for the night so all good it seems with this trek and they are powering along the track. So far today Matthew has experienced the walk from Agulogo to Menari Village followed by a tough walk up Brigade Hill. This was followed by a descent into Efogi Village before heading to Naduri. Well done Matthew, a big day but you have all nailed it.
