Their first night on the track found them at Ua'Ule as planned. Today, Pat must have decided to give them a short day as the group stopped at Ofi Creek around 10:15am this morning.

Tomorrow they have a big day when they head to either Agulogo or Menari for the night.

    Messages from the track:

    1. Message from Ben to Jess. Happy 20th Birthday.

    2. Happy 21st birthday wish to Naomi from Allison

Pat sent a message earlier today to stating they were on the go and heading to either Agulogo or Menari for the night. Said everyone was travelling really well so thought at that stage they would be pushing on to Menari.

I just spoke to Pat and he said they just walked into Kagi around 3pm this afternoon and that this is the fastest group he has ever walked with so each day they have lots of time to relax and prepare themselves for the next day. Rose-Maree has been the only one that did it hard for a few days but she is ok now and powering along. Tomorrow they head to Templeton's Crossing.

This trek is now at Templeton's Crossing for the night. According to Pat, everyone is doing well and looking forward to finishing their walk. A small bit of rain but nothing to bother them. They are still making good time as they move along the track. Tomorrow their destination is Isurava Village but not before they walk through Isurava Memorial area.

Trekkers arrived at Isurava Village around 5pm this afternoon. The area they walked in today has experienced some heavy rain and some landslides. Turns out today it took them over an hour to walk around the landslide area some of which was quite steep. Everyone did extremely well and a short time later found them at the Isurava Memorial before moving on to Isurava Village for the night. According to Pat, they should reach Kokoda around 1pm tomorrow afternoon.

Trekkers walked through the Kokoda Archway having completed their successful trek around 1:30pm today. Later after a walk around the museum area, they headed off down to where they are overnighting at Orohaven Pija. Tomorrow morning they will fly back into Port Moresby. Congratulations everyone, you did really well. Not everyone have a landslide to go back home and talk about, so your group will have something else to boast about apart from walking the track. Well done and thanks for choosing to walk with us.
