The Amazing Kokoda Trail

Again the kokoda trail. I live in the Netherlands, very far from most ot he people who walked the kokoda trail. I lived from 1969-1972 in Port Moresby working for a department and a mining company. In 1970 the red cross organized one of the first big trips to walk from kokoda to port moresby, a distance of about 150-160 km
I was in that time 24 years old and spend in that time nearly every weekend to do parts of the kokoda trek, Flying with a pilatus porter or a DC3 to one of the small airfields and walk then back to owens corner in 2 or days

Hi Nicolas, to post on our website after all these years shows you are still passionate about the Kokoda Trail. I arrived in PNG in 1972 and unlike you I am still here
