MemberI'm in the process of researching sleeping mats and have uncovered a huge array of styles, weights, lengths, some with down fill but self inflating, some with sponge and self inflating, different r level ratings etc. etc. Please give me some feedback as to what worked for you on Kokoda or point me to where it has been discussed before. Cheers.

MemberHi Craig
Have a look at this one I was most happy with it very light weight and small to pack.
I found after testing before I left that the trick was not to blow it up too high I blew it up just under 50% and for me that worked great.http://evosport.com.au/product.php?productid=16382
I did get mine from a Aussie site almost positive through Ebay

MemberHi craig.
My wife and I got our self inflating sleeping mats from katmandou, when they had a 50% off sale.
We got the full length ones although a lot of people prefer the 3/4 length.
Your best bet is to go to the shops and try some out.
Anaconda has a great selection as well and have sales all the time. - AuthorPosts
