Tonight I watched the news regarding the tragic cycling accident in Germany and noticed two of our Kokoda Trekkers who walked the trail last October obviously shocked by what happened to their team mates.
To Natalia & Katherine, our hearts go out to you during this time of sadness and also to the families of those who lost their loved ones.

Natalia, (Centre) Katherine (left) and their father Robert seen here in happier times when they were waiting for their flight to Kokoda for a 6 day fast trek with rugby union footballers from Sydney. Robert is the NSW Cycling Federation President so no doubt will also be in shock following news of what happened to our top female cycling team.
