Dear Wayne
Congratulations on a great effort – well done! We've been watching your progress over the weekend – it was very exciting. What a race, you must be exhausted – it took us 8 days and we are still tired! We hope you can relax for the rest of the week.
We have some photos of our trip and we'll send you some soon.
Congratulations to you again and the rest of the KLT team.
take care and best wishes
Kate and Dennis (from Deloitte Trek 99).

MemberCharles Chambers has just reached Ower's Corner and is on his way back into Port Moresby along with other members of our rescue team.
He is ok just that he was taking it easy once he knew the race was over. Feeling tired and weak he was just moving slowly towards the finish line at Ower's Corner.
Charles Chamber seen here in my home after he had arrived back in town on Monday 29th August. Quite an achievement to have completed the Kokoda Trail in 3 days when most trekkers feel walking in 6 days is the FAST TREK – well done Charles from all of us here at Kokoda Trekking:

Hi Wayne,
We just read on the KTL Webpage that you had a fall during the race and hurt your knee. To finish the race over that steep, rough ground with an injury is a great achievement.
We hope you are OK and will make a speedy recovery.

MemberCongratulations to all the runners, in a race like this every runner is a winner. To my mate Rod Ori, great to hear from you recently will be in touch again soon. Congratulations, you certainly covered the distance a little quicker than when we treked together
Best wishes
