MemberUpdate 21st September: Our guide Harold called in by two way radio today from Imita Ridge saying they were on the move and heading for Goldie River where they would overnight.
The plan tomorrow is to be up at Owers' Corner by 8:30am. For any parents wishing to be there to meet their children, you would need to allow an hour and a half for the journey. The road is not too bad except for when it has been raining then it can be quite slippery.

MemberUpdate 23rd September: The plan was to overnight at Goldie but the decision was changed due to the Kokoda Kids camping there.

MemberThen a climb up the other side while the porters carried over the backpacks. Until recently their was a flying fox situated there but was washed a little downstream in a flash flood and now lies abandoned not far away as seen in the photograph below:
