This week I received a phone call from someone who had originally been looking for a trek which commenced at Ower's Corner and ended at Kokoda and thought we only trekked one way.

I am here to set the record straight…..WE CAN TREK both ways !

It simply means flying the guys in from Kokoda and they trek back home….one way or the other we are up for a one way airfare no matter which way you prefer to trek.

SO PLEASE, give us a chance to take you on a trek with our experienced guide and porters no matter which direction you wish to trek from!

Our guides and porters are highly experienced on the Kokoda Trail and will ensure you have a great trek. We pride ourselves on their expertise and ask that you report anything at all so that we can keep improving our standards and the services offered to our clients.

When you are in Port Moresby, our team of dedicated workers will ensure you enjoy your stay and that we help out wherever we can.

We also offer cheap affordable accommodation in self contained units at K80.00 per night per person. Depending on the size of the groups outside transport maybe be required at times but nothing we as a team cannot get around at a small cost to the group overall.

We also encourage anyone visiting our website to contribute to our forum as we would like http://www.kokodatrail.com.au to become as popular in the long term as our Papua New Guinea Website http://www.pngbd.com

After all, if you come to Papua New Guinea and enjoy your stay, whether you trek with us or other trekking companies, surely it is good to spread the word about your experiences good or bad so that we can all learn and improve.

    sincere regards

PS The Mural attached is the early stages of a very colourul tarpaulin which will be one of three erected at the PriceWaterhouseCoopers Walk for Life Corporate Walkathon to raise money for the Sir Buri Kidu Heart foundation which last year raised over K50,000 for a very worthy cause.

Since this pic was taken, the aeroplane has been replaced with a DC3 Biscuit Bomber which is more appropriate for the Kokoda Trail.

If you live in Port Moresby why not turn up for the walk on the 31st August, 2003 at Ela Beach International Primary School just down the hill from the Crowne Plaza and enjoy the morning.
