MemberToday we welcomed a tired but happy couple of guys who arrived on the flight from Kokoda around midday.

Their trek schedule went like this:
Day 1 – First Night – 23rd April, 2004: Marty arrived to join Raphael who had arrived one day earlier. After meeting Marty from the airport, they went directly to Ower's Corner and walked down Ubere Creek and spent the night camped in the bush. They were joined by one of our guides Kingsley Boropi from Isurava. Both trekkers including their guide carried their own packs.
Hours = 2 1/2 hours
Day 2 – 24th April, 2004: Ubere Creek to Naoro New Village
Hours = 13 hours
Day 3: Naoro New Village to Naduri Village – 25th
April, 2004Hours = 13 1/2 hours
Day 4: Naduri Village to Alola Village – 26th April, 2004:
Hours = 10 hours
Day 5: Alola Village to Kokoda – 27th April, 2004 – :
Hours = 6 hours
GRAND TOTAL = 45 Hours
Both trekkers overnighted in Kokoda and caught the flight back to Port Moresby this morning. They plan to fly out to Australia 7am 29th April, 2004.
Anyone else out there game to beat this record?
