Everyday of the week I received lots of emails but every now and then a very special ones comes along.

I would like to share this one with you which reads as follows:

    quote:

    Dear Gail,

I just wanted to express how thankful i am for doing the trek with KTL. I loved everything about it, i think i could have stayed there SO MUCH longer. I just LOVED it. So thank you.

I arrived home in Sydney today, and already i miss all of the boys from the trek, they become such a huge part of your life during those 9days, and they are such lovely characters, you should be very proud of what you are doing. I only hope to come over to PNG again in the future to visit them all, there families and hopefully even do the trek again, in the wet season (hahahaha) – Seriously!

But yes, thank you for a great fortnight and a great night last night, i am sure everyone had a ball, as i did. It was just FANTASTIC. Say hi to the guys for me, wish them the best of luck and may angels watch over them whilst walking the trail.

    Kindest regards,

    Name withheld for privacy reasons.

This trek had 17 trekkers in total all from different walks of life and from different areas of Australia.

We are so thankful to Rhys & Lesley who offered to leave their trek OPEN to OTHER TREKKERS instead of having a closed trek which allowed others to join them on their adventure of a lifetime.

Often we have complete strangers head out on the Kokoda Trail that come back in having made friends for life. They share emails addresses and promises of reunions are often in the air.

This was one such trek and all 17 of them seemed to bond really well together and the KTL (Kokoda Trekking Ltd's) boys and trekkers seemed to have had a ball.
