New Track Radio At Ower's Corner

Hi everyone…loud and clear this morning a radio message for the first time from a BASE RADIO at Ower's Corner. Very clear – much better than along the trail in others already set up.

A phone call received from Warren Bartlett a short time ago, indicated another one would be put in at Uberi in the next day or so. In the past this area has been hard to reach by hand held radios so it this too is a bonus. He also mentioned Templeton's Crossing which has always been another 'low' spot.

The radio itself is situated in a village not far away from Ower's but all guides and porters will soon be able to walk there to make a radio message if the need was warranted.
