MemberUpdate 5th October: We heard from the track today that they were on the move and turns out now have decided to head to Ua'Ule Creek to overnight.
Today they all seem to be doing ok as we were talking to Andrew Yauga and he relayed this message.
Our guys must be eating heaps as they phoned in today asking for more food. Approximately two hours ago our driver went to drop off two porters to walk in more biscuits; noodles; sugar; milk; protein and rice.
Yesterday the bosses in Port Moresby decided to go for a chopper visit to Isurava and Kokoda to check out the project area where they are planning on building at Ward 4 next year. Refer below for photographs taken yesterday.

Tomorrow they will walk up through the archway at Owers' Corner and will be picked up by ourselves and driven to Sogeri National High School. After Sogeri National High School they will be driven to Bomana War Cemetery before ending up at the Gateway Hotel mid afternoon.

MemberI echo Danielle's thoughts with a big thank you to the boys from KTL, and a big congratulations to all the kids (and adults!) who trekked. We had some tough days, but most of the kids knuckled down and achieved something amazing. Well done to all. My favourite moment would have had to have been the day the creek flooded and we had to swim the last couple of km (OK, slight embellishment, but it was wet and very fun!). I too miss being on the trek, and miss the company of those I trekked with. Well done to all, and hope all the sunburn, bruises, sore muscles, bumps, scratches, tummy bugs and flus and improving!
PS Just wanted to let the boys know – looks like I did break my collar bone and damaged my shoulder– many thanks to all those who helped me get through. Nat M
