For those of you who may not be aware, Soc (Wallace) Kienzle is the youngest son of Captain Bert Kienzle who was placed in charge of the 'fuzzy wuzzy angels' who was fluent in the local language as he had lived in PNG for many years.
Bert Kienzle has been given accolades like "The Architect of the Kokoda Trail" and "The King of the Angels" and has immense contribution to the success of this historical battle is acknowledged in all good records of the event such as the Bill James book on KOKODA which we give to anyone who books through Kokoda Trekking.
Now his youngest son, Soc Kienzle is taking history tours across the trail. Soc was born in Papua New Guinea and lived at the family home at Kokoda for 33 years. He held the record for the youngest white man to cross the Kokoda Trail at the age of just 13, crossing it in just under 30 hours and is also fluent in several Papua Languages, including Motu and Pidgin.
Soc Kienzle now resides at Burleigh Heads and when not returning to his home land to walk the Kokoda Trail, he can often be found charging up the Burleigh Headlands in preparation for his next big trek.
There would be few alive who know as much about the infamous Kokoda Trail as Soc, and he therefore provides a unique experience to everyone of his trekkers.

The Pre Trek Training Phase comprises an 8 week supervised taining program to ensure all trekkers are fully prepared for their individual treks. The program will consist of 2 sessions per week. These sessions include one of a cross training nature to be conducted mid-week and one pack walk Saturday or Sunday mornings. Training locations, and schedules allow for some flexibility and will be negotiated between Game On International and the client to best suit both parties.

Matthew Kennedy is the Program Director and is responsibile for the coordination dnd facilitation of the training rosters and their content. Matt played just on 200 AFL games with the Brisbane Lions and is now currently a member of the highly respected Brisbane Lions Strength and Conditioning Department.
He played a major role with the preparatons and delivery of the Lions pre-season trek of the Kokoda Trail and has a wealth of experience in the fitness industry, mainly within talent identification programs with elite athletes.
