A big celebration is being held at Kokoda right now to officially welcome and bless 'Rusty's KTL1' – our new PMV canter at Russell's family block.
The PMV was driven off from the Popondetta docks by its Owner Mr Russell Eroro yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon 7th September, towards Kokoda.
This morning it received a big welcome from the villagers who threw a feast and held a small 'blessing ceremony' for the PMV.
We have not received any further messages from Kokoda so can only assume at this point in time Russell, his family & friends and all our porters and guides are having a good time.

2004_09_03_15_28_45.JPGOn Friday & Saturday we welcome to PNG our next lot of trekkers who head out on Sunday for Kokoda so can only assume they will be the first group to travel in our Mitsubishi Canter.
