1. This photograph was taken at Isurava Memorial area by a Ross Eason a professional photographer who walked with the trek that included the UK Gold Medal Olympic winner, Steve Ovett.2. The boys in this photograph entered our 2011 Kokoda Challenge Race across the Kokoda Trail. The eventual winner was Brendan Buka who holds the record in both directions. He is the little guy sitting in the foreground of this photograph and on the right front row of photograph 1. All very fit boys who with pride lined up at Owers' Corner for the commencement of the race.
