    A group of friends from Kangaroobie, Princetown, Victoria who flew in to Kokoda on September 19th, 2004, arrived safely at Ower's Corner yesterday (27th of September).

    All 37 of the trekkers arrived in POM on the 16th September – two days before the trek and spent the Indpendence weekend in the city.

    They basically enjoyed their two days in the city. The group went to watch the Hiri Moale Show held at Ela Beach and which concides with the Independence Day – September 16th.
