We met the 'Building a Winning Team' when they arrived yesterday from their Cairns flight and took them to the Airlines of PNG charter area to book in for their flight to Kokoda. They looked fit and READY TO GO!!! Their guide Dudley and porters met them when they arrived in Kokoda and not long after they commenced their walk.

kokoda2__Small_.jpgUpdate 20th August: Trekkers have now reached the half way point of Efogi where they will spend the night. All ok happy enjoying etc and ready for another day tomorrow to spend their second last night at Nauro before they head for their last night at Ua'Ule Creek.

IMG_0866__Small_.jpgUpdate 23rd August: Congratulations are in order for a huge effort by these guys to complete their trek. According to their guide Dudley, they think they may have set a new record in 3 hours from Kokoda to Isurava!
Trekkers arrived back in off the track and got cleaned up at my residence and after a meal at the Airways Hotel headed back to Cairns this afternoon.
