    Hi there, I went to my pngbd website and found the following:

    SHANDLEY, Private, JOHN TAYLOR, QX20382. A.LF. 2/1 Coy. Australian Army Service Corps. 16th January 1943. Age 26. Son of Edward and Alice Maud Shandley, of Bundaberg, Queensland. B l . F. 21.

    They decided to attack by sea, and assembled an amphibious expedition for the purpose, which set out early in May 1942. They were, however, intercepted and heavily defeated by American air and naval forces in the Coral Sea, and what remained of the Japanese expedition returned to Rabaul.

    Hi,

    i am looking for my grandfather, Stanley O'Connor, he wasn't buried @ Bomana but his name appears on one of the pillars of the Stone of Remembrance. Do you have a list of those names?

    I have a relative buried at Bomana War Cemetery: TUTT Victor Keith, Warrant Officer Class II. Do you have a photo of his headstone?

    Hi Lyn, next time I am out at Bomana I will look for his grave and take a photograph. Have found the listing and where his headstone is so stay tuned for further updates:
