    I AM AFTER A BACKPACK FOR KOKODA FOR MY SON ABOUT 75 TO 85 LT.
    WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE TO PICK UP SECOND HAND TREKING EQUIPMENT.

    You could try the army disposals outlets or keep an eye out in the trading post. I found that in the newspapers they are advertised second hand for around the A$100 mark whereas brand new you could pick up one from A$140 upwards.
