MemberWhilst at the Australian War Memorial I picked up a brochure and thought I would share it with you here in case you need to get in touch with them for whatever reason. Details as follows:
The Australian War Memorial commemorates the sacrifice of Australian men and women who have served in war. Each year almost one million people visit the Memorial to view our exhibitions and learn how Australians have been touched by war.
Our award-winning galleries contain relics, works of art, photographs, and personal items that help us to tell the extraordinary stories of ordinary Australians.
You can help to support the Memorial in two ways: either by
- Joining the Friends of the Memorial Membership Program or
- By contributiing to the Memorial's Donor Program
Your generous support will help people to remember, understand and appreciate the Australian experience of war.

MemberAustralian War Memorial Donor Program:
The Donor Program allows people who may not wish to take up a full Friends Membersbhip to contribute to the Memorial.
This program provides you with the opportunity to make an annual donation that is fully tax deductible (for donations over $2.00. The amount you choose to donate is entirely up to you, and may be varied at any time. A reminder notice is sent out at the beginning of May each year, to allow you to make your donation before the end of the financial year. You will then be sent a receipt for tax purposes, along with a certificate to acknowledge your generous support.
If you have any queries about the Donor Program, please phone (02) 6243 4523 or email: donors@awm.gov.au
