E-TICKET CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT AND TERMS OF CARRIAGE FOR FLIGHTS OPERATED BY AIRLINES OF PNG PTY LTD
FARE RULES
FLEXI FARE (S)
Flight and date changes permitted at any time free of charge. Name changes and re-routing not permitted. Fare is non-refundable. Full payment must be made at time of booking. Children (2-11 years) pay the full adult fare. Infants (under 2 years) who do not occupy a seat travel free of charge.
FLEXI SAVER FARE (Q)
Flight changes (date and time only) are permitted if requested at least 24 hours prior to the flight's scheduled departure time. The new fare must be of equal or higher value than the original fare. Change fees of PGK 100.000 IN pAPUA nEW gUINEA OR aud50.00 in Australia will apply for each passenger for each flight segment changed, plus any difference between the fare for your new booking and the original fare. Failure to travel as booked will result in the fare being forfeited. Name changes not permitted. Fare is non-refundable. Full payment must be made at time of booking. Children (2-11 years) pay the full adult fare. Infants (under 2 years) who do not occupy a seat travel free of charge.
DISCOVERY FARE (T)

MemberCapacity Limitations:
The carrier shall limit the number of passengers carried on any one flight at fares governed by these rules and some fares will not necessarily be available on all flights. The number of seats which the carrier shall make available at these fares on a given flight will be determined by the best judgement of the carrier.
Terms of Carriage:
For the purpose of these terms of carriage, and the transport services provided pursuant to them, the phrase 'this ticket' shall be understood to include your E-Ticket Customer REceipt and all documentation issued to you (excluding any insurance documentation) as part of your E-Ticket travel.
1. The Ticket is issued, and transport and services between Papua New Guinea and Australia are provided, on these terms of carriage which include the conditions of contract and (where consistent with these terms) notices in this Ticket andin fare and timetable bookings, ("Terms"). Any carrier, or service supplier designated in this Ticket or providing transport or services in respect of the ticket are called "Operator(s)".
2. Any money received for the Ticket ay an agent issuing it ("Agent") is received in trust for this issuing airline. Airlines of PNG does not receive the money as agent for any other Operator. The Agent is not for any other purpose agent of any Operator.
3. Operators are not common carriers and may refuse to carry any person or goods without giving reasons.
4. Each Operator is responsible only for transport or services provided by it and has no liability for any other transport or services.
5. The Ticket is not transferable. There is no obligatgion to provide any transport or services under the Ticket unless satisfactory proof of identity of the designated passenger is produced (namely a driver's licence or similar form of photographic identification) when checking in for the flight.
6. The ticket is valid only for transport and services specified. If the passenger or the Purchaser of the ticket alters or can els transport or services or their order, the ticketed fare structure may become inapplicable. Under certain fare structurees the Ticket may become valueless and not refundable if not used on the date or for the transport or services specified, Passenger and Purchaser each then agrees to pay full fares and prices. The Operator may charge cancellation fees or make refunds in its absolute discretion. Not all services and fare types are necessarily available to all passengers.
7. PUrchaser acknowledges receipt of this Ticket for related charges described therein. If this ticket is purchased with a credit card PUrchaser agrees to make payment in full when billed or in extended payments in accordance with the standard policy of the issuer of the credit card.
8. Operators may, without notice, substitute means of transport or service suppliers. These terms apply to any substituted or altered transport or services.
9. INdustrial disputes, loading restrictions, unsuitable weather and other operating restrictions may necessitate cancellation or delay of transport or services. Operators also reserve the right to cancel bookings for other reasons.
10. Subject to these Terms, Operators have no responsibility for costs or losses resulting from diversion, substitution, alteration, cancellation, or delay or from loss or delay of baggage.
11. If passengers are landed at a place other than the specified destination, the Operator will make all reasonable efforts to transport them to that destination but with no obligations as to time, date, or means of transport.
12. Passengers must comply with all laws and regulations and with the instructions of the Operator and its representatives. Passengers must submit to reasonable searches of their opersons and baggage. A passenger's baggage may be searched without notice to the Passenger.
13. If, in the opinion of a representative of the carrier, the Passenger is in breach of these Terms or under the influence of drugs or alcohol or it is necessary for the safety or comfort of other passengers or for the protection of property, the passenger mya be denied boarding or be required to leave the aircraft or other means of transport and may if necessary be physically removed or restrained.
14. Except as otherwise provided by these Terms, and to the extent permitted by law: (a) Operators are not liable for death, or for consequential or other loss of any kind,m arising directly or indirectly from negligence or omission or some other cause in connection with provision or non-provision of any transport or service: and (B) No agent or Operator is liable for inaccuracy in any information concerning transport.
15. If an Operator is liable in connection with transport by water, this liability is limited to the extent permitted by Part VIII of the Navigation Act 1912 (Commonwealth) if that Part applies and, if it does not apply, liability is limite dto an equivalent extent.
16. Without limiting the operation of the Civil AViation (Carriers' Liability) Act 1959 (Commonwealth) and complementary state laws, the Operator's liability for breach of any term of this contract (whether express or implied), or for any other claimin relation to the Operator's obligation under this contract (including any claim for negligence for breach of any statute) is, to the extent permitted by law, limited to the resupply of the service in question or payment of the cost of resupply.
17. Protection given by these Terms to an AGent or Operator shall extend to its servants, agents, representatives, related companies and independent contractors. This condition is included for the protection of those persons, in consideration of their services to the passenger.
18. These Terms may not be modified or waived by any person.
19 If any Term fails to have all, some or any effect, or causes any other Term to fail at all to have any effect, it shall be read down or severed to preserve the rest of these Terms.
20. Wherever it is issued, the Ticket and carriage or services supplied thereunder are governed by the law in force in both the Independent state of PNG and the State of Queensland.

MemberTravel Wholly within Papua New Guinea:
Carriage hereunder which is wholly within Papua New Guinea and is not international carriage as defined by the Warsaw Convention, is subject to the provisions of the Civil AViation (Aircraft Operators Liability) Act of 1975 of Papua New Guinea, and the liabilityof the carrier in respect of the death or injury to any passenger is limited to the sum of K30,000 and in respect of baggage is limited to the sum of K300.00 including a maximum of K30.00 for baggage other than registered baggage.
CABIN BAGGAGE:
Cabin Baggage Limits – the following items must not exceed 4 kilograms in weight. If combined weight is more than 4kgs they must be checked-in and carried in the aircraft hold.
All airline members of the InternationalAir Transport Association (IATA) have agreed to observe the following cabin baggage regulations The articles listed may be carried free of charge over and above the free checked baggage allowance (but not exceeding 4 kilograms).
- A lady's handbag, pocket book or purse, which is appropriate to normal travelling dress and is not being used as a container for the transportation of articles which would otherwise be regarded as baggage.
- An overcoat, wrap or blanket
- An umbrella or walking stick
- A small camera and/or a pair of binoculars
- A reasonable amount of reading matter for the flight
- Infant's food for consumption on flight
- A pair of crutches and/or other prosthetic device for the passenger's use provided that the passenger is dependent upon them.
- Wheelchairs andinfant's carry baskets (these items will be stowed in the aircraft hold)
All other Articles – including overnight bags, briefcases, personal computers, ladies vanity cases, large size cameras etc. taken into the cabin as hand baggage are subject to the following conditions when travelling on Airlines of PNG Airlines.
One Briefcase or One Small Bag not exceeding: depth 23cm (9 in), he9ight 34cm (13in), length 48cm (19in), maximum weight 4kg.
ONe soft-sided (non-rigid frame) suitpack or garment bag not exceeding: thickness 11cm, width 60cm, length 114cm.
Valuable Items:
All baggage should be locked, items of value – such as money, jewellery, precious metal, negotiable papers, securities, business documents or the like – should only be carried on your person or in cabin baggage under your care. Airlines of PNG are not liable for loss or damage resulting from inherent defect, quality or service of goods carried.
Dangerous Goods For safety reasons, the following types of restricted articles are examples of articles which must not be carrried in your baggage or about your person. If you have any doubt about what you may carry please request more information from Airlines of PNG before you travel.
Compressed gases – eg refrigerants, flammable and poisonous such as butane and aqualung cylinders.
Corrosives eg, acids, alkalines, mercury and wet cell batteries.
Explosives munitions, fireworks and flares.
Flammable liquids and solids eg lighter or heating fuel, MATCHES, paints and articles easily ignited.
BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE:
Each passenger (except infants) may check in up to 20kgs of baggage at no charge (for domestic flights within Papua New Guinea, 16kgs). In addition, a maximum of 4kgs per passenger of carry on (cabin) baggage is permitted at no charge. Baggage in excess of the allowance will be accepted at a per kilo rate and, due to operational requiremets, at times may not be carried on the same flight as the passenger. Excess baggage is carried only to the airport specified on the Airlines PNG baggage tag and the passenger is responsible for collection of excess baggage and/or any other related delivery expenses. No single item of baggage may exceed 32kgs in weight. The total linear dimesnions (ie. length plus width plus height) of any item of baggage must not exceed 158cm (62in). Any item of baggage exceeding the size or weight limit will not be accepted at passenger check-in and must be consigned as cargo through a cargo office.
Please Note: Restrictions for flights in or out of Kokoda:
(for domestic flights within Papua New Guinea, 16kgs). We ask also that your backpack weigh no more than 15kg. If you are over 16kg please be warned that Airlines of PNG are quite strict and you will more than likely be asked to pay excess baggage. You can always carry your water containers and fill up in Kokoda to cut down weight.
In addition, a maximum of 4kgs per passenger of carry on (cabin) baggage is permitted at no charge. Baggage in excess of the allowance will be accepted at a per kilo rate and, due to operational requiremets, at times may not be carried onthe same flight as the passenger.

MemberNo Flight Connections Provided:
Airlines PNG does not provide flight connections or baggage transfer on the routes Port Moresby-Cairns and Cairns-Port Moresby. It is the passenger's responsibility when making bookings to allow time for baggage collection and recheck. We recommend at least 150 miniutes between flights. While Airlines PNG will try to carry you and your baggage in accordance with the date and time of the flights specified, it does not guarantee it will be able to do so. Schedules may change without notice for a range of reasons including but not limited to bad weather, air traffic control delays, strikes, technical disruptions, and late inbound aircraft. To the extent permitted by law, Airlines PNG excludes liability for any costs, expenses, losses or damages incurred by the passenger as a result of failure to meet a schedule. Travel insurance is recommended.

Travel insurance is not provided by Airlines of PNG. Passengers are advised to make their own arrangements in regard to insurance.

MemberInfectious substances e.g. live virus substances.
Radioactive materials and all poisons e.g. insecticides and weed killers.
Medicines and toiletries in limited quantities and alcoholic beverages may be carried in checked or cabin baggage (maximum 2 litres or 2kg). Firearms are NOT permitted in the cabin.
Passengers shall not tender dangerous goods or potentially dangerous goods for carriage as baggage. Carriers may destroy, abandon and/or retain as evidence any such goods.

MemberSecurity Notice:
All knives, sharp objects or cutting implements of any kind and any length, whether or metal or other material, knitting needles and sporting goods, must be packed in your checked baggage. They cannot be carried in your cabin baggage or on your person. If they are, the articles will be removed and not returned.

MemberCHECK-IN TIMES:
Check-in will open 90 minutes prior to the scheduled departure. You must check in at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure. You will not be able to check in after this time. Arrival after this time will result in you forfeiting the entire fare paid.

MemberUNACCOMPANIED MINORS:
If a child 2-11 years of age is travelling without the supervision of a parent or guadian who is 15 years or older, they are classified as an unaccompanied minor. Airlines PNG will not accept unaccompanied minors for carriage on the routes Port Moresby-Cairns and Cairns-Port Moresby.

An infant (under 2 years) must travel with a passenger 15 years of age or over and only one infant per passenger is permitted. The age of an infan t or child will be considered as the age at the date of commencement of travel.

MemberLIMITED SPECIAL ASSISTANCE:
You warrant that you can travel independently, or if you cannot, that you are travelling with an accompanying passenger who is responsible to ensure that you can travel safely and provide all assistance and supervision you require. An accompanying passenger must, for the purposes of these Conditions, be `15 years of age or over and capable of providing all the assistance and supervision you require to safely complete your journey. If you need to use special sevices such as wheelchair access, you must inform APNG Reservations of your needs at the time you make your booking.

No fare refunds are applicable for international travel/ Some fare purchases allow change of travel time and date, subject to fare rule conditions.
