MemberAll is going as planned for two out of three of our Kokoda trekkers who left here on the 9th July for a 9 day 8 night trek.
One guy Ian Gormlie ended up with severe knee pain and had no choice than to pull out at Menari and get air lifted back into Port Moresby.
His brother Peter Gormlie and friend Paul Curran should head up to Ower's Corner on their last part of their journey around 2pm today 17th July according to the last contact we heard last night.
They would have met up yesterday with a father and son who headed out from Ower's Corner early Tuesday morning. Son, Damien wanted a taste of the kokoda trail so the plan was to keep walking until they met up with the other trekkers, porters and guide on the track and then turn around and walk back into town with them.
