    Update 11th July, 2005;

    Trek 76
    The group?s current location, Alola having a break; looks like the villages were busy all morning preparing a big lunch feast for Trek 76. So definitely, this lot will have a full tummy that will take them all the way to Deniki Choko Fields.

    The group will then go to Isurava Battlefield, have a look around, take pictures, rest for awhile and then proceed to their camp site Deniki Choko field. All trekkers are doing fantastic; so far, there have been no reports of anyone having or facing problems, so that?s good news.

    The following trekkers send this to their loved ones.

    Paul Cooper

    Debbie Lewis to the Office girls?

    Heather Forster to Brook Forster?

    Latest on the trail;

    Trek 76
    Now at Isurava mountain top, the group is heading down to Deniki. All trekkers are ok, doing ok, still going strong and are very much looking forward to coming out tomorrow.

    The weather looking good at their end, the sky is blue and the suns up and bright.

    For family members who are eagerly waiting for a reply, please be patient at this time, for trekkers are still on the move and it would be hard for the guide to go grab hold of one trekker. But when they get to their camp site, they will give me a call and I?ll pass on your messages and get replies from them.

    peta;
    I passed on the first message to Kris & Doug but didn?t get a reply. So, I?m not sure if they heard me well, I?ll try again, including the second message you sent when they get to their camp site, and hopefully get a reply this time.

    Latest Trek 76;

    The group has finally reached Deniki look-out point and is looking down towards Kokoda. All trekkers did great, no one had difficulties or problems along the trail, although there were some tiring big mountains/hills to climb, all trekkers handled it well.

    They will camp at Deniki tonight and come out to Kokoda tomorrow morning, and all trekkers are looking forward to it.

    Weather still looking good, so should be a great day tomorrow.

    The following trekkers send this;

    Paul Cooper
    ?Thanks to everyone who sent messages and also thank you all for your support throughout the trek. We?re all ok, and looking forward to coming out tomorrow.?

    Kris Liebke
    ?Thanks for the message. We are both fine and doing well, only one day to go."

    Trek 76 To The End…
    After spending the night at Deniki, the group started off bright and early this morning, even when the sun was not up yet. All trekkers are ok, still doing fine, but they all eagerly want to come out or finish their trek, as soon as possible.

    Their current location is Kovelo village, which is almost to the end of there trail, well it is the end anyway. Weather still looking good, so should be a really good day today.

    Trek 76, Finally There?..
    The group has finally made it to Kokoda. All trekkers are happy and very much excited that they've finally completed their trek, well they should be. They all did great out there on the trail; no one was having problems what so ever, they all did extremely well up until now, so that's great.

    They were welcomed by the Traditional Singsing group from Kokoda has soon as they arrived in Russell?s family Block, which they were not expecting, so that was a surprise to all the trekkers, and they loved it.

    At this time, all trekkers and porters are having a feast lunch, and soon after that, they will hit the creek for a nice cold wash or shower.

    CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU ALL

    Will Zouch, Steve Le Breton, Garry Ridland, Craig Smith, David Zouch, Heather Forster, Mike Little, Matt Little, Dan Little, Debbie, Lewis, Kris Liebke, Doug Liebke & Paul Cooper.

    ?We all traveled well. All trekkers still look fit and well. Our porters and guide took very good care of us all throughout the trail, and we thanked them all when, we arrived at Russell?s family block, for they did such a wonderful job. We were welcomed by the Traditional Dancing group from Kokoda, it was really, really nice.
    All trekkers are happy, for finishing this successful walk, and looking forward to coming back into Port Moresby tomorrow.?
