Paul Meikle met with his personal porter Rommy Awuki who showed some initiative. Rommy asked for the name of his trekker and brought with him from Kokoda a carved walking stick. Paul was really excited and showing it off to everyone saying it was definitely going on his wall.DSC01737 (Copy).JPG

Trekkers have now reached Agulogo where they are camped for the night. They had a tough day today as it rained quite heavily and by the time they reached their destination they were all wet. Ivan called in tonight to say they were all now safely at the half way point of Efogi. He said its rained every afternoon all the way from Kokoda. So different from our other trek that finished this week as they said it was dry the other side. Our group of trekkers have now reached the area commonly referred to as 'Dump 1' by our staff. Earlier today they crossed over Eora Creek before heading to their destination point. I got to meet this group today when they came in off the track. All were very happy to have completed their trek and loved the company of the boys along the way.

Just received an update from the track. The group have stopped for the night at Hoi. Everyone at this stage is doing well.
The photograph below was just received by email from Henry Amuli who met the trekkers this morning at the airport and drove them to Kokoda for their trek.

Just a quick update regarding the Form. Have spoken to The PNG Consulate. If trekkers already have the visa you will not need to re-apply for the Visa from what they have said.
For trekkers who are yet to apply for the Tourist Visa you will need to fill the form in to accompany your Visa Application.
