Paul Meikle met with his personal porter Rommy Awuki who showed some initiative. Rommy asked for the name of his trekker and brought with him from Kokoda a carved walking stick. Paul was really excited and showing it off to everyone saying it was definitely going on his wall.DSC01737 (Copy).JPG

Trekkers have now reached Agulogo where they are camped for the night. They had a tough day today as it rained quite heavily and by the time they reached their destination they were all wet. Despite the rain, Ivan assures me they are still enjoying their walk on the Kokoda Trail. Tomorrow the plan is to head to Ioribaiwa. A short walk from…[Read more]

Ivan called in tonight to say they were all now safely at the half way point of Efogi. He said its rained every afternoon all the way from Kokoda. So different from our other trek that finished this week as they said it was dry the other side. Seems all trekkers are doing just fine and the young girl carrying her pack is powering along it seems -…[Read more]

I got to meet this group today when they came in off the track. All were very happy to have completed their trek and loved the company of the boys along the way.

For trekkers who are yet to apply for the Tourist Visa you will need to fill the form in to accompany your Visa Application.

If trekkers have any concerns regarding this…[Read more]
