Sorry, could not update recently as my internet went down and only came back on today around 1pm.

Congratulations are in order as this group walked off the track yesterday into Kokoda and this morning were flown back to Port Moresby.

The team of trekkers and porters walked through Naduri Village today and headed down to 1900/Myola Junction to spend the night. Received a sat phone call around 7:30pm to say the group are now at the half way point of Efogi where they will enjoy a night on mattresses! Trekkers reached their destination of Isurava Village around 2pm today. Tomorrow they will walk off the trek into Kokoda. Horace mentioned today that they are even more excited now to know tomorrow they will have achieved their dream of walking the track.IMG_0191 1280×768 800×600.jpg

Horace called in today to report that last night they were at 1900/Myola Junction and today they were on the go heading to Eora Creek. Everyone is doing just great it seems! Trekkers have already arrived at Girua Airport and are booked in for the flight back to Port Moresby on board Air Niugini's dash 8.
