Wayne their guide phoned in today from Maguli Range saying they were all going well and on their way to Ua'Ule Creek to spend the night. Their last night on the track will be at Goldie River tomorrow night and they will walk off the track on the 4th August.599724_10151119593045971_1297503498_n.jpg

On the 8th July David Briese walked the Kokoda Track along with 10 others from Kokoda to Owers' Corner.
Although disappointed at the change of direction, it makes for an excellent read with lots of photographs.

Katie Walsh, Sarah Coxhead and Diane O'Donaghoe walked off the Kokoda Track today at Owers' Corner. Later this afternoon I met up with them when they returned to Port Moresby and they looked and sounded really pleased with their trek.

The group had walked off early this morning and were heading towards Ofi Creek where they planned to stop for morning tea.
Later in the morning they will head down to Ua'Ule Creek and tomorrow their guide has estimated an arrival time at Owers' Corner the finish line around 11:30am.

Trekkers have made really good progress and I cannot believe where they days have gone. Their first night was spent at Orohaven; then Isurava; followed by Templeton's II. The next time saw them at Efogi, now Naoro tonight.

After arriving from Popondetta they relaxed at our base, Orohaven Kokoda Retreat before moving onto the track around 1pm.
