Both treks 910 & 933 met up with each other earlier today around Brigade Hill area. When I was talking to Wayne from trek 906, he said they were all heading to Naduri Village for the night. All trekkers on both treks are doing great.Naduri Village.jpg

This trek is now at the half way point of Efogi where they have settled in for the night.

Tomorrow they will cross paths with two of our other treks heading in the opposite direction.

At this point in time there will be Kokoda Trekking uniforms and trekkers spread out across several overnight spots along the track.

This trek is now at Agulogo camped by the river for the night. Earlier today they walked up Maguli Range and through Naoro Village before heading to where they are at the moment.

Wayne phoned from Imita Ridge to say they were heading down to Ua'Ule Creek for the night. Wayne mentioned that everyone was fine and doing well. He said they are all quite young so felt it was going to be a great trek as they will mix in well with all the porters who are walking along side of them. Two treks flew over to Popondetta on the same aircraft and although they commenced their walk at different times, they are both now camped together at an area commonly referred to as 'Dump 1' at the foot of Mt Bellamy the highest point on the track.

Trekkers have now reached Isurava Village. Tomorrow they will walk off the track into Kokoda and celebrate their successful trek. Earlier today they would have experienced walking into the Isurava Memorial area before moving on to where they will spend their last night on the track.Isurava1.jpg
