Carl met up with his personal porter, Dominic Beaga who we commonly refer to as the 'Herbs Man' due to his ability to put together some bush medicine that seems to fix just about anything such is his reputation. He also arrived in with a nicely carved walking stick for Carl. IMGP3760__640x480_.JPG

This morning trekkers were picked up at 7:30 for the drive out to Owers' Corner. Our staff eagerly packed the troopcarrier as they had been up since 5:30 having their breakfast and were keen to hit the track. At Owers' Corner we took a group photograph under the archway.IMGP3753__640x480_.JPGIMGP3755__640x480_.JPG

Congratulations to Trek 781 as they have just walked off the track into our base 'Orohaven Kokoda Retreat' one day ahead of schedule. Dont get your pack from the local camping store, see a pro, and if your carrying it yourself get it set up…[Read more]

Wallace called up from Maguli Range earlier today to say as planned they reached Ua'Ule Creek where they spent last night. Today they were heading for Naoro Village. He said all trekkers and porters were going great and that everyone was co-operating as a team. Looking_back_at_Naoro_from___640x480_.jpg
