Hi GailWhat a great place, certainly fills the bill for a night before and after the Trek, as long as we can get Steak sandwich, a plate of hot chips and a cold SP (which we did in 2005) after a week of rations!Look forward to enjoying the hospitality in April/May next year.RegardsWaza

HiAll good comments from experience.I used a $14.95 2 man tent from Go-Lo, used it 4 times and gave it to Maurice my Porter at Owers. It wasn't waterproof but then it didn't rain of a night and I always slung a $4 tarp from Super Cheap Auto across the tent, held up by 2 poles at either end and one cross piece of timber, which left a good…[Read more]

Last night was at Ofi Creek and today they were heading for Agulogo campsite. Tomorrow they hope to reach the half way point of Efogi. Robert added that Joshua is doing ok carrying his pack! As we had a trekker to drop off at Owers' Corner they tagged along for the drive although Adam struggled to stay awake as he was out on the town last night. At Owers' Corner we took some photographs of the family.P1080145__800x600_.jpgP1080144__800x600_.jpg

After the drive up the mountain to Sogeri we talked about him commencing his walk today instead of tomorrow and spending the night at Goldie River and he jumped at the chance.
