    Andrew Yauga just checked in at Eora Creek at 09:16pm is in good shape and doing well. His cousin Samson is in 3rd position followed by Lenny Enjeka in 5th place

    Have just received another update from Harold Hauro on a sat phone at Eora Creek, Brendan checked in there at 08:12 had something to eat and had some medicine applied to his back as he is suffering some back pain.     Currently in 5th place at Efogi is Horace Yauga who arrived at 3:57pm seen here being congratulated by one of our trekkers at Kokoda for the race in 2008. In that race he came home in 6th position overall.Horace_and_Jane.jpg

    1st into Efogo, the legend, Brendan Buka in a time of 2:35 but deducting the .07 late start = 2:28. In 2008 he hit Efogi at 2:10 so at this point in time he is behind his record breaking 2008 record. Its now 3pm and no sign of any other competitor at Efogi the half way point.Brendan_Buka.jpg
