Hi Kate, agree with Andrew. Seems like you can save some money and get a pretty cheap one – they are in every hiking / sports store. Just make sure you have the right litres. Your porter will be right (he won't even attach the hip strap…..)Sounds like you can get use out of a day pack, so you may want to get a decent one. These can double up as…[Read more]

I agree Kate, you can overload on information and then have it all swirling around in your head! Not sure about the type of pack needed given that you are using a porter. But I know that I have read advice on either here or trek company websites about this. When I go I wont be using a porter, so I have been informed I need a 75lt pack. The 'day…[Read more]

We now have an office, grounds to park our vehicles and a large two bedroom home.It still has a few things that need…[Read more]

Thanks for that…..I actually HATE bushwalking/camping etc, only purchasing as I plan on doing Kokoda in July 2013 and then again in 2015. Only asked about Denalli as it is stocked in my local Anaconda store and i was curious as to whether anyone had experiences with it.

Fun and games were had earlier this morning when the vehicle they were in along with another one owned by Air Niugini, got bogged in a river crossing on the way to Girua Airport.Help was soon its way in the form of a bulldozer to pull them…[Read more]
