Hi Fluppy, definitely not. Kokoda Spirit is based in Queensland on the Sunshine Coast whereas we are based here in PNG.

We have bases in Kokoda, Port Moresby and the Gold Coast.

All our staff come from Kokoda and surrounding areas.

I have no idea why there would be a link on their site that directs trekkers to this site.

We have several domain names which all link to the same website irrespective of what you type in. In the beginning we got more hits from http://www.kokodatrail.com.au but now we receive more from
http://www.kokodatrekking.com.au

At one stage we had a trekker write to us thinking we operated out of Australia due to the .au
after our domain name. As we are based here in PNG we quickly set up a PNG domain name with a .pg
so other possible clients did not think the same way.

When we first set up the website we decided to obtain as many domain names as possible irrespective of what someone might type in. It worked out well as people can very easily find us!
