Why? coz it has not stopped raining all night! We have also heard from our treks on the move that the heavens have opened up on the track itself and there is mud and higher river crossings.
Our KTL boys have grown up surrounded by rivers where they wash everyday and so on. But for trekkers it will be a great adventure as they master themselves on the terrain, endure a slippery ride out to Ower's Corner in 4 wheel drive and look forward to the next 8 days.
Last night at the Gateway Hotel four of our trekkers turned up for our briefing but two got lost. We eventually caught up with them and all was well. They are all down for a 6:15am pickup this morning from the Ela Beach Hotel.

MemberUpdate 22/04/07: Trekkers spent last night at Menari and their guide Arnold called into today from Brigade Hill saying all trekkers were doing fine. As it was still early morning the plan was to push past Efogi and head onto Kagi where they will overnight.
