MemberOne of our ex trekkers wrote to me offering to act as a 'personal trainer' for anyone in the Melbourne area. Jades knows what it is like to walk the track and being a fitness instructor feels she has what it takes to ensure that you too can achieve your goal.
Her packages are made up as follows:
Package 1:
2 x sessions
- 1st session – Introduction of Kokoda. What you will require whilst on the track. Food, how many clothes to take, toiletries, bedding etc
- 2nd session – a 90 minute session including basic leg, back and posture strengthening exercises.
- A small hike that is a similar gradient to the Kokoda Track
Price – $80.00
Group Price (of 6 or more) – $60.00 per person
Extra sessions are available on request.

MemberPackage 2:
7 x Sessions
- 1st session – Introduction of Kokoda. What you will require whilst on the track. Food, how many clothes to take, toiletries, bedding, etc
- 6 sessions – 1 hour long sessions (except the last 2)
- 1st & 2nd – Developing the endurance in the length in preparation for strength and power training
- 3rd & 4th – Strength and power sessions. A similar workout to some of the inclines that will be a part of the Kokoda Track.
- 5th & 6th – 2 x hikes that will vary between 2-3 hours. The gradients will vary and the main focus of the sessions will be getting used to carrying the backpack. Various locations will be used for these sessions.
Price – $350.00
Group Price (of 5 or more) – $285.00 per person
Extra sessions are available on request.
