MemberOn the 5th June they were picked up from Sogeri Lodge and when I arrived they were still on the back verandah having not long had their breakfast. The other photograph was taken outside in the carpark area minutes before we drove off:

MemberLast night trekkers were at Goodwater Campsite area. Ernst Jinga is their guide and when he called me today he was quite happy with their progress. I will update once I hear from him tomorrow as to where they reached today.

MemberTrekkers have now reached the half way point of Efogi. If they stopped at Landy Noel's guesthouse they will get to sleep on mattresses which is something trekkers love after the hard floors in other spots along the way.

MemberFirstly, my apology for not putting up many updates but during the week we upgraded the forum and experienced a few problems.
Our facebook page has been updated daily so trust you have been able to follow this through by checking there.
At the present time this trek is either at Eora Creek or Alola as I did not receive a phone call but judging by the GPS they are carrying it would appear they have stopped close to this area.
They are perfectly placed to walk off the track on the 12th.

MemberSpoke to Ernst Jinga today at Deniki whilst they were heading towards Hoi where they will spend their last night on the track. He said everyone is ok with the exception of Grant who has been experiencing knee problems.
However, they have been taking it slow and he will definitely finish his trek.
He said everyone was in good spirits and looking forward to walking off the track to the finish line in Kokoda tomorrow.
Picture them tomorrow as they walk towards the archway in Kokoda.

MemberTrekkers walked off the track earlier today so congratulations are in order for these four trekkers. They have been relaxing and enjoying a few SP Beers at our Orohaven Wantok Tavern throughout the day. Well done everyone! Picture them today as they made their way to the finish line in Kokoda.

MemberTrekkers have already arrived at Girua Airport and are booked in for the flight back to Port Moresby on board Air Niugini's dash 8.
They should arrive here at 8:30am
Re Photograph: this aircraft is at the Popondetta airport so no doubt they have checked it out whilst waiting for their flight.
