Trek 275: Have just heard from our guide Paulo that all trekkers have made it to Isurava and are doing well. Along for the walk is Russell Eroro's son Kingsley and our packer come plumber Dickson. Dickson went over to Kokoda around two weeks ago to complete the guttering on Russell's new home and to connect the downpipes to his tank. He was to fly back to Port Moresby but has decided to do his second walk as part of this team.

International Trekkers are made up as follows:

Lennard A Clements; and father and son combination of Rodney Missen and David Missen.

Lennard advised before his trek that his friends have been playing around with dates for sometime and he just couldnt wait any longer so booked to trek. He took off from Hamilton Island and they all think he is walking up around Cairns someplace. He plans on taking plenty of pics to show them when he gets back home where he really has been…..then he plans on coming back again with his mates whenever they decide to make a date to trek.

    Trek 267:

Two Swedes and Two Aussies successfull completed their trek from Kokoda to Ower's Corner today and are now back in town walking around Boroko craft markets.

    Trekkers included:

Tony Neville; Joe Sullivan; Harald Herz and Christian Schatt

The two Swedes have quite an adventure ahead of them as they tour around some other parts of PNG before heading to Vanimo and hopefully over the border to Indonesia. Just out of military training, its time for these two Mechanical Engineers to spread their wings and see some other parts of the world before heading back home.

I asked them this morning to describe their trek. They said it was similar to Switzerland but where you have hills and valleys, here on the track you have hills and creek crossings!

Will catch up with our two aussies later tonight but spoke to Joe Sullivan and he commented that although he is thankful it is over, he had a great time and really enjoyed his trek.
