Trek 259: Sally Buckman, Megan Rawson, Adam O'Hara and three generations of family, Gregory, Nicholas and Donald Lawson left Port Moresby for Kokoda where they spent the night at Rusty's Family block. This morning they are now on their way up to Isurava Battlesite Area where they will spend the night:

Please note young Nicholas in this photgraph who is only 7 years old. If he successfully completes this trek he will become our youngest ever trekker.

Trek 232: Also on the same chartered flight into Kokoda yesterday was three trekkers who headed out on a 7 day trek as follows:

Guy Strapp; Tim Strapp and Prue Strapp

Our guide advised us that they successfully made it to Isurava Village last night where they spent the night.

This morning when I spoke to our guide they were at the Isurava Battlesite area and were planning on spending the night at Eora Creek.

Trek 225: Trekkers have just been picked up from Ower's Corner and are currently on their way to Bomana War Cemetery. They should be back in their hotel somewhere around 1:30pm.

Trek 182: This trek came back in off the trail via Tropic Air yesterday and enjoyed their trek. Not hard to see they didnt shave since departing Port Moresby and easy to see whose beard was growing the fastest.

Trekkers, my wantoks – Paul Jones, David Johnson and Liam Walsh from the Gold Coast and Brisbane pictured here at Jackson's airport:

Trek 182: thanks must go to Kristen Tinkler for kicking off this trek. This is the second year in a row that Kristen has walked with us. Once again she was a bundle of joy and is even considering coming back again next year!

Trek 229: Brian, Adam and Mark Harradine along with Dr Ted Cassidy made it to the half way point of Efogi where they spent last night. According to our guide Rod Ori, all were going really strong and had no problems.

Trek 174: Kathryn Lance, Damien Lewis, Paul Steer, Merrin Lewis, Stuart Adams, Peter Sofely, Kate Loton, Heather Patterson, Tim Denny and Craig Tilley are doing just fine and now on the home run to Kokoda.

Tonight they should spend the night at Isurava Village and walk out to Kokoda tomorrow Tuesday where they will be met with a traditional sing sing. They will spend the night at Rusty's family block before flying back to Port Moresby on Wednesday.

Trek 300: Two mates Ben Clark and Arron Broom had made it to the half way point and as I type this are walking towards Landy Noel's Efogi Guesthouse where they will spend the night. Paul our guide says both guys are doing just great and loving their Kokoda experience.

Both trekkers are on a mission to take notes of various things that need to be done to improve things along the track. They hope next year to come back and do the track again and bring with them other like minded friends who they intend to put to work based on their current findings.
