MemberUnfortunately Scott started experiencing problems in relation to dehydration on day two so decided to call it quits and walk back out with trek 152 & 206 yesterday at Ower's Corner.
Having spent most of the day in his company yesterday, he seemed disappointed that he could not go on but so proud that he got to experience what it was like on the Kokoda Track.
He also got to spend a night in a village, he commented that this would be something he would always remember.
Michael continued on towards Kokoda alone and Scott will return home to Australia tomorrow.

MemberUpdate: 17/05: Michael is now back in town and said he had an absolute ball but missed his friend Scott who decided to turn back.
He said he ended up not putting up the tent in the end and just hung with the boys and slept under their tarpaulin.
Yesterday in Kokoda he shouted a few beers and drank with his porters. Today when I spoke with him, he sounded on top of the world.
At the present time he is with our driver Kei (pronounced Kay) driving around craft markets trying to find something to take back home.
We would like to congratulate him on his successful trek…well done Michael!
