Hope Gail doesn't mind us posting here, but as an ex-Kokoda walker with the KTL boys as our porters we thought this is a good place to post.
Last year we walked the track and met a great group of people while training. We have kept in touch, but always thought that we shoudl get together on Anzac Day to celebrate the spirit of Kokoda.
So, we are doing it Tuesday 25 April.
We will meet at 3pm and walk the newly named "Kokoda Track" at Mt Coot-tha. Meeting point outside Channel Nine. Walk down and back up and then a quick catch up. Bring 6 of your favourite Kokoda photos for a trip down memory lane.

Hi Mel, so how did it go, did many people turn up?
Please tell us all about it as I certainly do not mind and think it was a great idea that you posted it here.
Next year tell me in advance by email and I will post it on the front page, you never know it might become HUGE as our trekkers number well over 1400 now and growing every week and a lot come from Queensland.
