Membergoing on the track in august, try trying to find how many hours we would tend to walk before there was a break to rest.

MemberHi there, roughly you will walk anywhere from 4 – 6 hours per day depending on your walking speed and how the group are handling the conditions.
Sometimes you may walk a short distance and then a longer one the next day based on the guides observation of how you are all doing.
Hope this helps
kind regards

MemberHi Archie,
I did the trek in June, we would walk each day for about 6 hours all up. We would start about 6am walk for a couple of hours have morning tea, then another couple and stop for lunch and finally arrive in camp about 2.30pm. The rest of the day we would relax play cards etc. Most nights your in bed by 8.30pm.
I was worried too but I found it manageable, just take your time and enjoy the scenery.
Good Luck
