MemberDurining the Trek, I lost my watch which popped off my wrist when I slipped and fell. It is a citizen sports watch stainless band blue face, alarm chrono/digital. I was wondering if any of our fellow trekkers had picked it up. It may have even been picked up by the "Executive Excellence" Trekkers. I have further description on demand to verify ownership. It was resonably expensive for me and would love it returned. Can anyone help???

MemberI informed Wayne that I too lost a watch on the Kokoda Trail – a swiss made gold Roamer watch completely water resistant. I was walking from Ower's Corner towards Kokoda. We overnighted at Iora Creek and I can clearly remember looking at my watch when I woke up that morning.
However, when I got to the bottom to cross over the river I noticed that my watch was no longer on my arm. Hence somewhere from the campsite area to the creek on the side trek not the steep one direct down to the river that the porters and guides seem to use I too suffered the same fete. This watch I had worn for over 10 years which had been given to me as a gift.
Russell Eroro who acted as my personal porter back tracked to see if he could find it but hey its a jungle out there and it would be like looking for a needle in a haystack so we moved on towards Alola.
So if anyone is reading this who has found a gold watch in this location, I too would love to receive it back as it feels really wierd looking at my arm and not seeing it there.
