MemberHave you have been hiking and needed to buy items that will not weigh down your pack and cannot find what you are looking for, well I had the exact same problem last year. In October I trialled some packs but they were not 100% to my liking so I decided to look for a supplier to cater for my needs and who I could work with to ensure you our trekkers enjoyed the food.
Food 4 Treks came to our rescue and I have just placed our first order – 2000 packs in time for our Anzac Day Treks.
In 2004 our home would look like a supermarket on many occasions so it was soon obvious that we had to come up with a solution to our problem of shopping till we dropped. The weight was also a factor and our food porters were carrying far too heavy a load to our liking.
In December/January on leave I helped put together a 24 hour ration pack which will serve you our trekkers and cater for our needs. These packs are lightweight and include a Back Country Cuisine meal in a variety of flavours from New Zealand
