Gail who has been very busy with her full time job with Deloitte's had been meeting with her trekkers regularly prior to their trek since day one. At times she would miss out on special occasion just to be there with the trekkers. And there were times she could not make because certain circumstances would prevent her.

On the one occasion she had to go south to attend her brother's funeral she had Russel there to fill in for her.

On Wednesday Gail met with this latest two groups who arrrived from Australia.

One group stayed at the Holiday Inn and the other smaller group stayed at the Gateway Hotel – all trekkers co-incidentally were from Victoria. Several in the larger group are AFL footballers and it showed with their strong build.

Trekkers also included Paul Kennedy – a prominent journalist with the Channel 10 News Network in Australia. Paul came along with his two brothers, his father and two cousins.

Trekkers are doing okay on the first day….Justus called to informed us that they have already reached the battlefield today. Tomorrow the group will be headed towards Eora Creek.
