    Today we welcomed a tired but happy couple of guys who arrived on the flight from Kokoda around midday.

    CLICK HERE – If you wish to read an article written by our journalist Alison Anis:

    Their trek schedule went like this:

    Day 1 – First Night – 23rd April, 2004: Marty arrived to join Raphael who had arrived one day earlier. After meeting Marty from the airport, they went directly to Ower's Corner and walked down Ubere Creek and spent the night camped in the bush. They were joined by one of our guides Kingsley Boropi from Isurava. Both trekkers including their guide carried their own packs.

    Hours = 2 1/2 hours

    Day 2 – 24th April, 2004: Ubere Creek to Naoro New Village

    Hours = 13 hours

    Day 3: Naoro New Village to Naduri Village – 25th
    April, 2004

    Hours = 13 1/2 hours

    Day 4: Naduri Village to Alola Village – 26th April, 2004:

    Hours = 10 hours

    Day 5: Alola Village to Kokoda – 27th April, 2004 – :

    Hours = 6 hours

    GRAND TOTAL = 45 Hours

    Both trekkers overnighted in Kokoda and caught the flight back to Port Moresby this morning. They plan to fly out to Australia 7am 29th April, 2004.

    Anyone else out there game to beat this record?
